If you're looking for information to race electric On-Road cars in the Portland, OR area, this is the place! We are a nonprofit organization that has been racing in the Portland, OR metro area for over 30 years!

We are excited to announce our 2025/2026 indoor carpet on-road racing season! These events will be held on our carpet track that will be setup in a permanent facility that our presenting sponsor Oregon Phone Systems has rented for 24 months! That's right, a permanent carpet track that will be available 3 times per week to practice! It will have CRC black carpet and be approximately 62' x 50'! The track, Rose City World of RC, is located at 10319 SE 82nd Ave. Portland, OR 97266 (Go around the building behind Hobby Town and look for the first door on your left). You can park anywhere in front of the building near Planet Fitness. DO NOT park on the side of the building as those space don't belong to the property. You can park in the alley behind the building along the wall as long as you leave enough room for a full-size garbage truck to get by. Do this at your own risk! We recommend using the main lot in front of the building.

Practice: The track will be open for practice on MOST Mondays (3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.), Wednesdays (3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.), and Saturdays (12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Please keep in mind this is a private, club facility and is not a retail establishment or hobby shop, so it's always best to check the calendar below before travelling to the track. There will be occasions on those days of the week when the track may not be open. If the calendar says Open For Practice, it will be open that day. There will also be "pop up" days available. We will post those on the calendar and likely announce them on our Facebook group. Bathrooms are available at nearby businesses, please support them.

Our Timing system will be running so bring your MYLAPS transponders. Data will be available at our Live RC Site. (https://rosecityscaleracing.liverc.com/) Tables and chairs ARE provided. There is no additional space to leave your own, so please DO NOT bring tables or chairs to the facility. Electricity may be limited sometimes, so we recommend bringing a long extension cord if you have one, or even better, bring a large battery to power your charger via DC input. 1c charging only, and Lipo bags are required. No equipment, especially batteries are allowed to be left in the facility when you are not present.

Cost to Practice: $10 per day. Credit Cards or Cash. No tap to pay.

No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the building or anywhere near the door to the building. No pets are allowed inside the building.

Timing System: We use a MyLaps timing system, so you will need a compatible transponder. Any of these 3 will work:
